How you had YourSay:
To make sure women and girls can access what they need to thrive, we asked you to help us set priorities for the Second Action Plan 2020-22. The Second Action Plan is a part of the ACT Women’s Plan 2016-26.
Between 3 October and 7 November 2019, you provided feedback by completing the survey. The survey listed the five focus areas for the Plan, and potential priorities under each focus area. We also received feedback from attendees at the ACT Women's Summit on 14 October 2019.
Your contribution will help to ensure that we continue to put our efforts towards the most important issues for women and girls in the ACT.
We have used your views to:
Your feedback has helped us know how to make sure that women and girls can access what they need to thrive. We’ve read all of your submissions and are keeping your feedback front of mind as we finalise the Second Action Plan.
We have also had direct engagement with individuals and community sector representatives who represent different ACT communities, including vulnerable communities and minority groups, to ensure their views are reflected.
We have released a What We Heard report that sets out the feedback we received.
We look forward to launching the Second Action Plan in early 2020.

We are looking at:
The Second Action Plan 2020-22 is the second stage of the ACT Women’s Plan 2016-26.
At the ACT Women’s Summit in October, we will meet with stakeholders to discuss the five focus areas and potential actions to include in the Second Action Plan. Along with this feedback, we want to know what is most important to the broader ACT community under each focus areas.
You can find more information on the focus areas and what these could mean for women and girls in the ACT Women’s Summit Discussion Paper:
The discussion paper also includes information on what is already in place for women and girls in the ACT, what the data and community has told us already, and where we may want to be in the future.
