Project status: In progress

The ACT Government is delivering a new Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) campus, public transport interchange and youth foyer in the heart of Woden.

CIT Woden will provide a 22,500m2 purpose-built educational facility for 6500 students each year at the site of the existing bus interchange in Woden.

The new public transport interchange, incorporating a Woden light rail terminus, will be built on Callam Street.

How to have your say:

We are currently at an early stage of the project and seeking community input to inform design development. Get in contact by emailing us at citcampuswoden@act.gov.au

In May 2020, we launched our Design & Values Survey, which asked you what elements of design you felt were important to consider as the project is developed. More than 400 survey responses were received, with the community indicating a preference for well-integrated buildings of up to 12 stories, featuring activated common areas and green spaces. For more survey results, visit the Design & Values Survey YourSay page.

How we will use your views:

Information and feedback from YourSay will be collected and provided to the CIT Campus - Woden Project Team.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Project Team.
